I just don't get why others are not seeing that lying is possibly the worst offense. Because the ones who lie are also the ones who are grossly incompetent. Competent politicians don't need to lie repeatedly, and the few competent ones out there don't tend to make a habit of it. trump and his minions lie all the time because the truth will d am n them to hell and they are not interested in getting there any faster than it will happen anyway.

You’re not missing much. Every few weeks he’ll remind you how he wants universal health care but then turn around and carry the water for all republicans on just about every other issue.
I look forward to the day we have a candidate running on fellating the guns and giving universal health care

It's not even the lying in this case. Why bother here? There was absolutely no reason to lie. Just release the real photograph. Or say Sniffles received a series of briefings and this is one (although if that's really Hope Hicks that's a damm old photograph). Why lie? And why tell such a lie that is so easy to disprove and show that you're lying? Is it really that hard for anyone in this administration to be honest about anything?

That was semi-rhetorical. I know the answer...

didn't they post a picture last year of Pence at a Colts game, when the truth was Pence flew out to Indy at taxpayer expense, only to bag going to the game, and flew right back? the pic was from some college game he attended sometime before.

It was still a Colts game, just from a few years earlier. Plus for whatever reason they decided to add a darkened filter.

It would be nice to see some politicians run with positions that aren’t in lockstep with their party but that seems a long ways off. There is a new political party forming in the UK and if they have success it will be interesting if something similar happens over here. They’re basically Labour Party moderates who are fed up with Corbyn’s garbage.

When people like you buy into the lock step on one voting issue, they get away with it. You are part of the problem, whether you think you are or not. You actually buy into the crap that D's want to take away your guns, when they clearly don't. And when faced with a horrific choice vs a choice that you wrongly think will take your guns, you don't vote.

Stop pretending to be above the situation, and actually understand that you've been duped. And start voting.

If there were only Democrats who didn't espouse Democratic policies, Drew might consider voting for them.

Would drew vote for a Republican who wanted gun control? Would joe vote for a pro-choice Repub? there are reasons why they are members of the party they belong to.

It's good that people are stating the simple unvarnished truth, even if it it obvious. One of the tools of fascism is to look straight at white and call it black. Hence Dumps' constant projection when he calls somebody else a liar or a sleazeball. The GOP is the party of the Big Lie, and each time we simply say "no" and speak the truth we are fighting their cancer.

Yes, but the CNN had Kellyanne Conway on this morning and all truth went out the window. The press should stop accepting people from the White House until they answer for all their lies.

Isn't that the whole point of a free press? Call those in charge to a public confrontation. If they tell the truth, you've exposed what they are doing. If they lie, you've exposed the lie?

Nope. They don't end up exposing the lie. All they do is propagate the propaganda. Look at Huckleberry Hound Sanders. She lies every single day and none of those journalists call her out for it.

This is very misleading and not true. I’d support someone like Charlie Baker who isn’t a big fan of guns but is good in other areas. There are different degrees of gun control and abortion.

Ah, BS. The problem is, you want those shows to be like this message board, or a third grade playground, where everyone jumps up and screams "liar, liar pants on fire!" in response.
