Don't qualify it. Just a war. There's too many home fires burning and not enough trees.

If our cities are bombed there will be jobs in rebuilding them. Plus the double Y chromo boys who volunteer for ooo-rah will be culled from the gene pool. Everybody wins.

This could potentially lead to higher prices on all items, like at Costco where Paul Ryan was so proud that his tax cut helped get a membership for that one woman.

Thankfully, infrastructure projects aren't too doomed by the potential backlash from steel tariffs since public works projects generally are "100% US Steel."


This, as Drew pointed out, more-so the private construction affected, with projects like new Trump Towers and others that could use imported steel as an alternative.

Also, the tariff Bush 43 put in place on Chinese steel already doubled the price of many consumer products that were made of steel - I saw this with regards to the price of dumbbells doubling. I paid that tax, but didn't write the check to the Federal Gov't.

Market isn't liking tariffs. It's almost like way more businesses use steel and aluminum than mine/process them!

What we need is to start an entirely new discipline of study that could look at how the supply and demand of scarce resources would affect prices and maybe even at the next higher level think about how that could impact trade imbalances and the total amount of value produced by the country. Only then could we have some people who might be knowledgeable about these sort of things that the president could turn to for advice on these seemingly impossible questions.

Oklahoma City and 9-11 were inside government jobs, Sandy Hook and the moon landings were fake, and pigs can fly. You could buy a lot of booze with all that money you are paying Alex for those brain pills, flaggy, and you would at least feel smarter. You deserve to be happy.
