To be fair this made me literally laugh out loud. With the possible exception of Gerry Ford, name me one president who was not narcissistic.
Granting that Dump is the reductio ad absurdum -- a genuine pathological narcissistic -- you have to be mentally imbalanced to seek political office in the first place, and to want to be President you have to be a self-absorbed as-shole of the very first rank.

Sorry, but I like my President's with a little bit of service to humanity in them. Trump is completely self absorbed and everything he does is for himself and not for the people. I think Obama and Clinton at least had a drive to serve. Bush Sr. too. Reagan and W seemed to be mostly interested in orthodoxy.

That's not mutually exclusive of narcissism. Think of Tracy Flick: she honestly wanted what's best of us: her. That is what motivates some of the biggest narcissists, from Barack Obama to Ronald Reagan to Woodrow Wilson to, especially, Abraham Lincoln. The great call of the Political Idealist is "I know what's good for you better than you do." That is the "savior" streak running through our politics both left and right, it just expresses itself with different mediated icons: equality and sexual-intellectual liberty for the left; economic liberty and sexual-intellectual repression for the right.

No, DHS isn't in the business of voter suppression. That's the business of all the little state gestapettes that the GOP has set up in their slave states, and in their perfect world it would become the business of the FBI and the Justice Department once their fascist regime has taken complete control of the federal government.
We can't do much about the states yet but we can hopefully still stop the Schutzstaffel before they gain complete federal dominance. That's what 2018 and 2020 are all about, Charlie Brown.

Why? Cause he's recused? So, they can hire someone to fire Rosenstein so that person can fire Mueller? It's amazing how the Republican standard changes with whoever's axe is being gored. I'm not remembering Democrats being like that as much. Probably because they don't spout platitudes like "lock her up" and hold endless hearings on things like Benghazi.

I get that. I'm just saying the traditional method of tyranny is to colonize the existing institutions and turn them into Bearded Spocks. So, now we have an EPA devoted to environmental destruction, and a Department of Education devoted to the destruction of the school system, and a Consumer Protection Bureau which pillages consumers. It's Fahrenheit 451 governance.
