No, I don't wonder. I know. They just don't like hearing the truth because it's ugly and requires them to take personal responsibility. Ignorance is bliss.

Let him be pardoned. Mueller has him on State charges. He's screwed. This little thing is not going to work. It's a stall tactic at best.

The state charges are actually kinda tricky for Mueller, because if (when) Manafort cuts a deal to sing, it's going to have to include the NY State AG or there's no incentive. Why spill on your boss to the Feds if Albany can still throw you in the clink for 8 years?

Not tricky at all. This has already all been agreed to or he wouldn't have picked him up yet.

It's not that they're all racists. It's that racism isn't a deal breaker.

A lot of the shock of the reactionary white underclass is that for the first time they are getting as good as they give. There was an agreement for a hundred years not to speak truth to stupidity because the 1% needed the fodder for their armies and their factories. So we got "the moral fiber of the American backbone..." or "our brave (sniff) lads" or "the apple pie bullwark of the American kitchen..." and all that other garbage nobody believed except the poor saps we ladled it out to.

But they're worthless now -- nobody needs them. One of the many nasty surprises for them is when they act up people now tell them where they can stick it, and man does that shock and appall them. They're used to everybody telling them their sh-t don't stick because they're white, Christian, salt of the earth and all the other politically protected characteristics we had for a century. But now they're fair game like everybody else, and oh man are they squealing like a stuck pig.

The right barbarians always complain about snowflakes, but turns out they're the whiniest snowflake on the block.

Pretty simple to figure. The State didn't even have a case. If Mueller needs them to take over he hands them a capital case on a silver platter. They'd be fools not to take it.

Apparently Orange Boy got pretty upset today about the Bannon thing. Colonel Sanders had to protect him at the press briefing.

It was obvious from yesterday's Twoop screed that he knew it was coming. I'm tempted to suggest this might be a scripted heel-turn.
