You might want to google "President Bowing" next time before you ask. (you can find images of Presidents like Eisenhower bowing)

But to answer your question...there is no written rule against bowing. That is BS Right Wing propaganda.

My god...to think we went from the halcyon days of George W. Bush bringing integrity back to the White House to Barrack HUSSEIN Obama stealing the Declaration of Independence, rolling up a fat dubbie with it and smoking it while Reverend White called for all white folks to die, the Commies and Socialists took away all our guns, and Mexicans were flowing over the border stealing all the jobs!!! And all the taxes they stole from me...and the forcing me to get insurance so I can be healthy...WHAT A JERK!!!

I'd say if the only thing people are complaining about after 8 years is him breaking some imaginary protocol , things went ok. I'd whine about him saying things like "you can keep your plan" etc but that ship has sailed.

You must be thinking about the US rule to not dip the flag- which came from the 1908 Olympics when Ralph Roe decided on his own that the flag dips for "no earthly king". Which is a little arrogant, to me. As if paying respect to other people is such a bad thing.

Same here- nobody in their right mind thinks that they are more powerful than the US. So the action Obama took could be seen as a way to make the other country *think* they have an advantage, which is a good manipulating way to pretend that the other person matters. Some think it's a bad thing, which tells me that you have zero confidence in yourself, as you need to proclaim to public that you are powerful. Again, that does not need to be put out there, everyone knows it. Giving respect is a great way to win over support.

I did google that, among other things. ;) Got to a site about some presidential protocol, but nothing specific.

Isnt Paulsen supposed to be an accountant or something? Good lord...

Here is a little clue for the sellout Paulsen...even your own party, which is literally only there now to cut taxes, is not in lock step on this for various reasons. Maybe for once grow a spine and have a real thought.

It just sucks being represented by that Clown. At least I know I never voted for him and I voted every time he was on the ballot.

I listen to this podcast where they sorta do impersonations/characters and one of the best is a 5 percenter/Muslim Obama where he's just calling everyone white devils and referencing Jeremiah Wright all the time :D

I was a NY state resident when Senator Pothole represented us. To know that nasty, criminal fink was my Member of Congress enraged me every time I saw his bulbous, mendacious face.

Haven't read the source doc yet, but this is entirely consistent with how I've felt about Trump and his coterie since day 1.

The text reads like a guy who thinks he’s being really clever and skating right past people with canny interpretations when he’s clearly just lying and doing so in a position of great legal vulnerability.

That kind of bullsh-t, what was famously described in New Gingrich as "a dumb person's idea of a smart person," worked with the GOP voters and it works with the Echo Chamber. Hopefully it's not going to work with the Department of Justice and the court system.

Our nation's final hope comes down to that there is still an intelligence test before you get a job in the legal profession.
