I will say there are some legitimate criticisms of the Red Cross. But overall I think they do a very good job in times of need and an amazing job with blood banks and blood drives. I can't think of another NGO that can move in resources better.

With everything going on in the world today, Vanity Fair and CNN have published deep analysis of FLOTUS shoes... this is what we've come to. Regardless of what "gets clicks" from basement dwelling Antifa dipwads, at some point our media has to get on the ball and do some actual work.

Médecins Sans Frontières is the gold standard but the Red Cross is still good, albeit bloated.

Are they operating in Houston? NPR has a good story up about the medical crisis nature of the general crisis there. (One media outlet still doing it right)

I think the resident Tech fan said that exact phrase a few weeks back. I stole it and posted something along those lines on FB too :D

Not discounting the possibility of deja vu though, seems a bit more prevalent the last 7 months or so ;)

Yeah, it was up earlier front and center on my phone. If anyone knows how to get my apple news to ban crap headlines from my feed I'd like to hear it. Their algorithm sucks unless its goal is to aggravate me. I'm always seeing celebrity news.

To be fair, other than cops busting heads I don't think SteveP has a side. He has a touch of BSABSVR but that probably comes from hanging out with LEO all day herping about HER EMAILZ.
