Yeah no one should ever stand up to the hate groups. Let them spew their hate in the open...certainly has helped stop them in the past. (said no historian ever)

If there's only a small blurb in a local paper, there's no sunshine. And like mushrooms, or moss, they'll continue to grow in the dark and shadows until they've taken over the forest.

I'm not giving them a (physical) fight. I'm coming to counter-protest. I'm standing on the other side of the street. If they want to come looking for a fight they are going to have to provoke it and then they are going to jail. I'm only going to use force in self-defense. If I have enough true heroes with me, I won't even do that, and we'll let the world see these f-cks battering innocent people.

And then Trump will go on TV and say there are good and bad people on both sides, and you'll say "well if you hadn't been there then there would have been no injuries." And you'll honestly believe that.

I can't help you with that, it's something you're either going to get over someday, maybe when the maelstrom comes for you, or not. But we know that ignoring a disease doesn't cure the disease.

But yeah worked really well in Europe when they just sat idly by and let the hate mongers preach...I cant think of how that backfired?

Do you really think that these people (and the ones they are reaching out to) will stand there, preach their hate, and when nothing happens just go away? Seriously are you drunk? Did you never take history? Are you trolling? All of those are the only reason you can honestly think that works. Maybe in the land of unicorns where Trump didnt give away classified information to the Russians in the White House and Reaganomics actually works that is possible, but here in the real world the more you ignore them the more emboldened they feel and the more they spread.

You dont ignore bullies, you stand up to them.

They will fight even if someone is not there. Historically, they will go OUT and find something do damage or someone to fight. That has happened many times in many countries.

They are the minority, but are forcing their way into rule. Again, it's happened more than once in more than one country.

Only in England did people directly stand up to the Nazis, and that whole BS fizzled out.

These guys are such baby thugs that one mostly just needs to stand up and oppose them, and they will back down.

It it's horrific that someone died in the protest. But I'd be 90% sure that someone would have died in the long run had nobody stood up to them. Heck, 9 people did die in a church because of these thugs.

It's getting to where anybody who stays has a serious PR problem, unless they sell exclusively to the dumbf-cks.

For some reason I thought 3M had been bought by a German company. Was I smoking crayons or did something like that happen at one time?

3M has been buying German companies and tech patents.
