This doesn't make any sense. Most of those things you listed are things the White House wants the media talking about. Their official messaging yesterday was about the two laws the House passed--they clearly wanted that to be the story of the day. So just stop, he is not doing this because he is a master manipulator. He is simply an unhinged old man sitting behind the Resolute Desk.

You made at least one decent point: Master manipulation would be killing off a celebrity and then signing the NDAA and SOPA while people are distracted with that death. It sort of reminds me of the saying about how women have to work twice hard to make half as much headway as men, but only have to put in a quarter of the effort. The same idea seems to apply here.
