Ahh. So I probably did. They're recapping on Midday Briefing and there has been some pretty huge bits that I did miss from before I got near a radio.

Wait, what? Was that during Wyden (when I was away) because I flat out missed that. If that really happened that's the substantive lead. The media lead will obviously be "Trump is a big fat liar."

The immediate reaction on FOX was the biggest thing to come out today was about Clinton and specifically how bad Lynch looked. Secondarily was that Comey gave his notes to a friend.

Fox is the best comedy on TV.

They can't risk their sheep breaking programming for even a moment. Their lead-in was "Comey is a show boat, now here he is on stage."

I guarantee my co-workers will be regurgitating those "ideas" back within the hour after the new patch has been downloaded.

McCain was painful. Some good questions from both sides. An unwillingness to hear what was being said (no surprise) or try to reframe it. He did a good job for the most part of keeping his cool and correcting what was 'misheard'

Listened to the whole thing. Baffled by what Ryan thinks should be the take away- the American people should now understand why President Trump is frustrated - that no one would come out and officially say he was not under investigation. Huh? A few of the Repubs said this including one who said something about how Comey should have said something because days later it was leaked. ??He should have had the forethought to know what should happen days later and make his decision based on that. Isn't the focus of the investigation Russian involvement/collusion and was there an attempt to impede it. I am lost at how this is about whether he was personally being investigated. Not top of my list of important things.

And even more baffling- Trump is new at this so wouldn't have known what he was doing was inappropriate. Wow. I know people will lap this up but the fact they will is something I find decreases my faith in human intelligence.

That's a very interesting question. It might be in terms of total eyeballs. I'm wondering if the ratings (at a lack of a better word) for the Nuremburg trials or the Clinton impeachment hearings were better.

Nothing good happened to Trump today during this testimony. Confirmed all of the worst rumors about him. He'd better hope his Russian friends are stand up guys because the minute he P.O.'s Putin on anything of importance the Russians are going to leak info confirming collusion between his campaign and them and that's all she wrote for his pathetic term in office.

Waiting for the brief from the Pres personal lawyer who is now very late. Streaming the PBS feed on FB live. Comments are golden. Always interesting to see what people think the take away is after you watched the whole 'event'. You can tell what media the person consumed by their comments. 2 people were walking in the park/ no there was a mass riot on the front lawn

Yes, I'm new at this driving thing, and didn't know it was inappropriate to offer the nice police officer $50 if he would just give me a warning and not a ticket.

Marco Rubio is now full Trump water carrying boy. Shocking after what Trump did to him during the campaign but based on his questions to Comey and his reactions afterward he's gone full Trump. He's more Guiliani than Guiliani at this point.

I wrote that before seeing your post further up the thread. I see we're thinking along the same terms.

There's new at a job, and there's a general sense of law and common standards that people ought to follow. We all know Trump knows nothing of those. I mean, there are no morals left in this country.
