Sorry, but you lost all R's reading that at "supplement". Not only is the word too long for don, the sentence is too long.

No chance that solid logic like that will ever be part of the discussion.

Clearly you didn't see the youtube video showing that a proper GPS routing system opens up worm holes and the beginning and end of runways. Thus making plane travel instant.

Still, people will complain and drive because of the bother going through security.

This is great. Trump's arms sales to the Saudis are completely fake. There are no contracts -- there aren't even RFPs. There are MOUs in place for the terms of potential future commitments but those were all negotiated under Obama. Trump did, literally, nothing.

An example is a proposal for sale of four frigates (called multi-mission surface combatant vessels) to the Royal Saudi navy. This proposal was first reported by the State Department in 2015. No contract has followed. The type of frigate is a derivative of a vessel that the U.S. Navy uses but the derivative doesn’t actually exist yet. Another piece is the Terminal High Altitude Air Defense system (THAAD) which was recently deployed in South Korea. The Saudis have expressed interest in the system for several years but no contracts have been finalized. Obama approved the sale in principle at a summit at Camp David in 2015. Also on the wish list are 150 Black Hawk helicopters. Again, this is old news repackaged. What the Saudis and the administration did is put together a notional package of the Saudi wish list of possible deals and portray that as a deal. Even then the numbers don’t add up. It’s fake news.

Sure, that part's fine. But then don't lie in an attempt to build an impression of gravitas and competence when it takes less than two weeks to completely expose you.

This administration is the most inept and ignorant in history. All that's left is the most corrupt for the Triple Crown, and fear not, that'll come.

Srsly. Why lie? Just for practice?

I get lying to your supporters to get elected. Politics 101. And I get lying to try to stay out of prison. Business 101.

But why lie when there is no upside, no gain, no threat to combat? This was completely gratuitous lying, and it freaked out the Israelis necessitating diplomatic concessions (which, granted, are likely just more lies) to them.

Here's the question. Did he not win in 2015 and 2016 but not permit anyone else to win either? :D

Think about this: how much of this sh** did he do (and got away with) in his business ventures? Come in all blustery, proclaim you fixed things, then the project manager actually has to clean up the mess.

You're right, he's been like this since he waddled out of the womb in 1946. He's the dictionary image for both entitlement and Dunning-Kruger.

If this world were sane his approval rating would be down to about 4%.

Also, I'm starting to get news fatigue from all of Trump's antics. And the Republican party being a giant bag of ducks.

There was a point where I would skim this thread to see the latest, but my social media is getting to where even non-political people I follow/friended are jumping into the game.

And it's not some new thing just because of Trump. Twitter (and social media in general) was around for Obama's full run. It's just getting to be overwhelming.

Washington Post is reporting that Trump plans to live tweet during Comey's testimony. That should go well.
