Glad you can. Never developed the taste for Teddy's style of music. Although Mike Huckabee luvs tearing up that bassline while Ted sings about making the pu$$y purr with the stroke of his hand.

Glad a good God fearing man like Mike Huckabee can enjoy a good Christian song like Cat Scratch Fever. More proof that the little "r" next to their names is all republicans look for anymore. Morons, the whole lot of them.

I wouldn't see him live if you paid me, and he won't ever get another nickel of mine, but I still love me some old school Nuge. :D

AP says the Special Prosecutor's investigation has widened to include Paul Manafort, and may expand to include AG Sessions.

And the king of false equivalency strikes again. You know no one here really defended Griffin, right? Opinions expressed were along the lines of "not funny" and "she went too far" and "we didn't like it when Obama was hung in effigy and this is no better." You can take the outrage somewhere else mr. I didn't vote for trump but I defend and excuse everything he does.

No one defended Griffin, correct.

But I will agree that her trying to play victim is beyond ridiculous. I do not condone the alleged death threats/etc, that's not cool. She just needs to be forgotten (again).

Re: POTUS 45.11: Attack! Repeat. Atrack!!!

I have always liked Kathy Griffin but for the life of me, I cannot comprehend how or why she thought this was a good idea. I get the whole freedom of speech/freedom of expression thing, but geez. She deserves everything she's getting now and I really have no sympathy for her. I just rolled my eyes at that fact that she had a press conference.

That being said.....where is the outrage about the photographer? Wasn't it his idea? He seems to be not be remorseful at all and wants to do more stuff like that. I haven't seen one thing about him at all. I get she has a certain level of fame that he does not but the fact that she is the one losing everything does not sit right with me.

I can agree on the photographer/publisher. Unfortunately, it's the name on the box of cereal and not the actual cereal producer, that gets the shaft, know what I mean?

And her press conference was a complete joke. Trying to blame old white men for keeping her down, etc etc......um, you posed with the current president's head, decapitated. That ain't right.

And before anyone says anything, I'd say the exact same thing for ANY president. It is not right to do such a thing.

As I understand it she was parodying the "blood coming out of whatever" comment from Trump to Megyn Kelly, by bloodying up the Trump mask to symbolize that. However, the picture ended up looking more like she was advocating Trump be beheaded. That's what I saw and what most saw.

All that being said I think everyone is going way too far in vilifying here. Including the Trumps. 1. She's a comedian. 2. She's nobody. But, instead everyone wants to apparently destroy her life for doing something stupid. She usually does stupid things but this time she just did the wrong stupid thing. I mean seriously, the Secret Service? Really?

I think by law, the SS has to investigate any possible threat to the president. Most often, they look into it, and say, "Nope, it's a joke," and that's it.

Re: POTUS 45.11: Attack! Repeat. Atrack!!!

Gonna guess this is what happened:

SS: Well, some half-arsed comedian made a joke.
*checks out recent activity of said comedian*
*fills out mandatory report*
"We're done here."

Breaking News: In a huge blunder, President Trump accidentally withdrew us from the Treaty of Paris, rather than the Paris Accord. We're all British now.

That's good. Well done. :)

Edit: stealing that for other social media.

Is it wrong I kinda believed that?

Re: POTUS 45.11: Attack! Repeat. Atrack!!!

I'm pretty darn liberal, but hot dang I love me some Motor City Madhouse, Free for All, Wang Dang Sweet Poontang, etc.

The Nuge rules.

Theodore Nugent sucks.

Re: POTUS 45.11: Attack! Repeat. Atrack!!!

True story: Notre Dame had two Kevin Nugent's play hockey for them, one recently, the son, and one in the 1970s, the father. When I was a young wearendhockey lad, following a game around 1977 I asked the older Nugent if he was any relation to Ted. Nope. Too bad I thought then, 'cause that would be cool... The older Nugent had a very brief pro career but interestingly enough was on the ice as Wayne Gretzky's teammate when the Great One scored the first of his 940 professional goals.

Re: POTUS 45.11: Attack! Repeat. Atrack!!!

I saw Nugent in concert in the 90s...it was awful.

Re: POTUS 45.11: Attack! Repeat. Atrack!!!

Saw this post on another board and it is pretty much exactly how I feel about this whole Kathy Griffin situation:

She apologized. The apology seemed genuine; it was short, and to the point. Then she had to muck it up and have that press conference. I'm sure she panicked and was trying to put a plug on this geyser... but what she did was make it worse, and negate any help the 1st apology did. If she had laid low this would have blown over and in 6 months she would have been fine. In fact, yes, all the Trump anger/hate/frustration may have even been a boon - like Spinderella says above- as Trump sinks lower and lower and more and more people see him for the tiny hands vile person he is. Now though, she's lost credibility. I was a big fan of hers, and I've lost respect for her. Ask 3 days ago if I would go to a show of hers and I would have said YES! loudly. (in fact- about a week ago I was looking up her tour dates). Now, I wouldn't go to a show of hers- and it's not because of the picture. It's her reaction to the backlash.

The reason it makes me so angry is that there are legitimate reasons to call Trump out- to get a lawyer- hell- to freakin' impeach- perhaps (?) imprison- the man. And.... this... this just is NOT one of those cases. And it weakens future cases when someone cries and screams censorship (oh... wait... is it sexism???... oh... wait... is it bullying??) in one of the few cases where this simply isn't true! It feels like it delegitimatizes all the truth in the times he is just that- because now the nuts who support him can point to this whole clusterf&ck and have someone like me agreeing with them.

Also- yes... it pulls the focus. And I know Kathy mentioned that in the press conference- but- who was pulling the focus here??? Her. Ted Nugent, Snoop Dogg, Marilyn Manson, part of the reason that all went away- their careers weren't really affected, was that they did it- and either continued to cater to their base (not care), or just moved on. The truth is I only watched about 2-3 minutes of the press conference, because after that long I was so annoyed and angry at her rhetoric I had to turn it off. She did herself no favors in this (and- IMHO- actually caused some harm to the left).
