I just wanted to share some personal information with all you great folks here. For the past 6 seasons I have been lucky enough to be the Public Address Announcer for my beloved Bears, both men and women. However due to other obligations I won't be the 13th best PA guy in the SUNYAC conference any longer. I will attend as many home games as my schedule allows, but I just wanted to say thank you to those who gave me a chance to be the PA guy. GO BEARS!

WPDM/WSNN has new owners and they are more about music now. I do enjoy the new format as it's the best of the 80's, however I think the sports broadcasting has changed quite a bit. I am thankful that Potsdam has a station to broadcast their games but Chris did an excellent job. Life goes on I guess.

I can remember WPDM broadcasting summer softball games. If it was a local sport, they broadcast it (along with Clarkson hockey).

Is there anything that you can't find Norm? Haha. Thanks for bringing the original thread back, I went to the 2nd page of the forum and couldn't find it. To address the Elmira game, I am not sure what happened to the schedule. I was checking the schedules for both schools about a month ago and read that it had been changed. A home and home series, not necessarily a bad thing IMO.
