Post Grad year

Re: Post Grad year

When the shiny D1 quit following her ...
That may not be a bad thing. For somebody like your daughter, for whom grades don't come easily but require a lot of effort, playing a DI sport takes a greater time commitment and can also mean a certain amount of class time missed. It's a lose-lose situation for student and program when a player cannot remain eligible. It sounds like your daughter wound up someplace that is a good fit for her. No one place is perfect for everyone.

Re: Post Grad year

When the shiny D1 quit following her and the D3 came came she picked the one she wanted to go to. Not too hard to figure out which one she is on their roster.

As i said before each situation is diffrent.

As I've posted on here before, it's all about the fit. I'm hoping your daughter is happy with her choice; it does look like she found a good fit. As you say, "each situation is different." Best of luck to her.

Re: Post Grad year

D1 scouts were after her?? And she's a 4th liner at UMBoston? Ok...I knew the story sounded odd...now I've figured out what the problem is [good kid...but daddy is a little crazy].

Re: Post Grad year

hey rinkrat....not really. the writing score is normally NOT considered by the admissions folks...Plus [there's that darn reading comp part again]...he only provided the two scores that matter...so that's where I got the 1340 score from, genius.
