Howdy Lodge. Checking in to say hi. Had a bit of a medical emergency on Monday. Called 911 and was taken by ambulance to Mass General. Bad abdominal paid that came with a severe headache, all in about 10 minutes. Then I think it morphed into a bit of a panic attack as my breathing was labored. But everything was normal - oxygen level, heart rate, pulse, EKG. Was in the ER for 8 hours. Had a CT scan. Found nothing. I'm better but my head is still foggy, like I was in an accident and had a concussion. Which I've never had. It's really weird. I'm thinking all of this is a result of a reaction to the prednisone I've been taking for a pinched nerve. I'm done with it so I want to wait another day or so till it clear my system. I do need to follow up with my PCP as well. Gah! It sucks getting old.
