Good Evening Lodge!
I miss the synopsis that used to come with all of the drama that happened in here. Now only 3 of us are providing drama- hopefully not much! Hope all is well scarlet and wT

The cottage is almost set. We have the service replacement scheduled, the plumber finally installed the sink/faucet and repiped. Got the cottage stained. the stairs to the water replaced, etc.

Meanwhile As the Lake Swirls heated up. I am a conniving biach. How dare I do all of this work without consulting with the family. This is a FAMILY cottage. I have no right to be making these decisions. How dare I give away their weeks- actually- no weeks were given away- no one is going because the electric sh1t is scary. (last yr auntie cut them back to one week and was SO proud. They have decided that was me)

It is not a FAMILY cottage, it never was. It is auntie les' cottage and we are trying to respect her wishes. Accusations included she is unable to express opinions so we are acting in our best interest, we have manipulated her to shut them out of access. Meanwhile they contribute nothing for the upkeep, don't help with all the chores, are too busy at the end of the season to put the camp to bed.

Hoo boy. I wanted to invite that a55hole to tell her that but it would break her heart. She talks about how they never call her, contact her, make any effort- all the time, every visit. It is so sad. If they ever talked to her they would know her mental status. I can't even. They have decided that we are putting it on the market because we are fixing a bunch of stuff. My favorite was the complaint from one of them that we need a different plumber because this one doesn't move fast enough. the spouse is a plumber and has not offered.

It won't be pretty when they figure out we are in charge for real. This entitlement is into the 3rd generation. My auntie fought with her sister who felt she should be able to come when ever she wanted. Then my cousins were always trying to get more days when they were told the dates (every time). Now their children totally believe they have every right to come like it was an airbnb.

Meanwhile we are slogging at dealing with FIL house. It is o_Oo_Oo_O

and uncle les just had a total knee and they gave him a med he can't take that makes him have mental status changes (After I called each facility and he told them before admission.

Life is not dull.

I am running away to see my friend in St Croix. If I don't leave I might be arrested for being a danger to self and others.
