The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Evenin’ Lodge peeps. Forgot to post my presence at HHT last night. Finally, a tournament championship win. Serious FOMO watching it happen while I was here at home. Thanksgiving was nice and uneventful. Mom was OK. She seems to know her loss of memory is getting worse, which to me means she’s still doing…OK.
Friday I was checking my checking account online, saw an entry I didn’t recognize and it said Federal Warrant. No idea what that was, freaked me out enough that I went to a bank branch, they couldn’t tell me what it was so they opened a fraud claim. They also recommend I close that checking account and open a new one. I had been staying at my mom’s and didn’t have my checkbook. When I got home that night I checked and it turns out it was payment I made to renew the warranty on my washer and dryer. D’oh! Not sure why the letter y didn’t transmit! Man, warrant vs warranty? What would you think? So I went back to the bank branch and had them cancel the fraud claim. It was crazy.
