Happy Friday Lodge peeps. Here at my mom's today. Her TV wasn't working - I figured out it was the box and had nothing to do with the outage in the area for two days. My mom lives on her own and basically watches TV all day so it was a pain for her. I came up here last night and brought my iPad. I have the Xfinity Stream app on it and you can watch live TV on it so she was able to watch Jeopardy and Law & Order last night. The technician showed up 20 minutes early (unheard of!!) and figured out it was not the actual box but rather the power cord that goes from the box into the wall that died. She got a new box (design flaw - it no longer shows the time), he used the old cord, still nothing. Swapped it out for the new power cord that came with the new box and viola!

When the main box is down, it affects the two smaller devices for the TVs in the two bedrooms. Thankfully those now both work too. Whew!! She's now sitting in the living room and watching Murder She Wrote.
 
Beating BC in the Beanpot semi is cause for several beverages at the HHT but jeez Louise they do not make it easy for me. I should be celebrating but I’m actually kind of annoyed.
