Please Pray For Jabs

Re: Please Pray For Jabs

nice job of going back into the threads to dig this out and update it with this great gesture by the Steel. Congratulations Jack :)

Thanks! It made my day when I saw it last night, thought I'd share with everyone on here.

Re: Please Pray For Jabs

The thoughts & prayers of ALL hockey people are with you, Jack. A deep belief that you can overcome, backed by the support of hockey types all over the world will bolster your effort to recover and return to
the ice. Kudo's for the Chicago Steel for drafting you and providing the inspiration to get the job done!!!

Jabs named Homecoming King at BSM yesterday. Senior girls hockey player named Queen (Kelly Pannek).

Pretty sure last fall's King and Queen are still good friends, as BSM is a small school. As for Pannek, she was named Minnesota's Ms. Soccer and also has a very good chance of being named Ms. Hockey. She was recruited by the U for both soccer and hockey, and fortunately Brad Frost won out. No doubt Jabs is cheering her on all the way.

We had hockey tryouts during the state soccer tournament, and I was out on the ice skating before soccer practice.

I think Dave Herbst had a spot ready for her on the hockey roster and she didn't need to go all out in tryouts while prepping for the soccer State title game. ;)
