Bob Emery - Men's Hockey Coach

Entering his 26th season behind the Plattsburgh State bench with the 2014-15 campaign, Bob Emery has established himself as one of the nation's top head coaches in all of NCAA college men's ice hockey. His resume speaks for itself: two national championships, 16 NCAA tournament appearances including nine trips to the Division III semifinals, 14 State University of New York Athletic Conference championships and 19 All-Americans. Emery's 542-171-57 career record makes him the winningest coach in the program's storied history, and his .741 winning percentage ranks in the Top 5 all-time in the NCAA. He ranks fourth among Division III active coaches with 542 victories.

So who's cleaning the ice when the puck drops in October? Brad has been around for as long as I can remember. For those who don't know Brad was fired (from what I've been told).

We have begun the process of renewing your season tickets for the 2014-2015 hockey season. The renewal letters were sent out this morning so please expect them in your mail within the next couple of days. Included in the letter you will find a renewal form as well as a 2014-2015 SUNY Plattsburgh Men's Ice Hockey schedule. Please be aware of the due date at which time your 50% deposit is expected. After making a couple of inquiries, it appears that Brad Graves probably retired.

The words that came directly from Brad's mouth was "fired"....now if he "retired" to keep it a clean break could be an option, but the word he said was "fired".....

This is what I had heard as well, but I've been hearing about Brad's retirement for several years now....along with our beloved P.A. announcer during the games - anyone heard if he's coming back or not?

No Castleton on this year's schedule? Or are they playing in the Cardinal Classic, er Buck Supply Classic? I'd have rather dropped Skidmore if there was a choice in the matter...

What teams are in the Buck Cardinal Classic this coming year? It's not on the schedule yet.

I like that the Cards and Oz actually play real competition in their tourneys. It beats the old days of bouncyball tournaments like the Carrier Classic that were automatic wins. (Although I did go to the game where they lost to Eastern Michigan when they had Earl Boykins.)
