First off I can see this has turned into a verbal joust between a passionate fan who has gotten a little wild at times and I. Like I said on my show tonight I apoligized to those who were offended by comments overheard on Friday's Broadcast. With that being said I can admit I havent always been the most accurate but then again no one on this forum is. I try to boost the team morale sometimes by giving the team incouragement. When my team gets verbally attacked and accused of being goons of course like anyone I am going to defend them. I know the team and they all are very nice individuals who play the game for the love of it. No scholarships, no money, just heart.
I want to thank Mazile and Logger 44444 for words of encouragement and we try to be the most professional Broadcast team we can be. The addition of female reporters in my sports department has always been welcomed ,enhances the broadcast, and gives a different perspective on the game. We dress in suits for every game and try to give both teams their just due. Bengals or no Bengals. I am not trying to "win this fight" because I dont see this as a "fight" I am just trying to give a different perspective other than Plattys. Zamboney thank you for making this forum a little more fun.

I dont know where you were going with this Im sure their are people in jail from platty as well soooo I cant help but laugh at your stupidity. I was talking more about the location of the kids surrounding him rather than the overall number of kids. Good try though I see your grasping at straws here.

Just to add to my "credibility" both coaches and both broadcast crews were puzzled as to why both the Cross check and Unsportsmanlike conduct penalties were both called therefore negating eachother. I talked to coach after the game he said he was told by the ref both had to be called period end of arguement. Which was puzzling to both coaches because how is it both a dive and a cross check it should of been one or the other not both.

I cover the Sabres for A show I do on monday nights playing the interview clips on the show and I have the blog for a personal project I am working on its more of a resume builder as I have some potential employers looking at the content. I would give you the website but I am pretty sure SOME PEOPLE will try to leave negative comments on it which would defeat the purpose. I work as a pit reporter for the super dirt series therefore I am at all the tracks. I love auto racing and I am a former Quarter Midget champion in the state of NY. The comment that started all of these shanagans was the fact that one of our "goons" hit one of your players illegally. Just to clairfy about the Illegal hit on the Plattsburgh player. IT WASNT AN ILLEGAL HIT! Your coach is even on record saying that the hit was not dirty it was a clean hard hit! So stop your whining I think you might have some more diapers to change anyway. Actually what started it was calling the whole as a team goons, not just the hit..the hit was just a point. Pettriello is the real problem. Good Squad was because after Nicky boy went off Buff State gave up playing hockey and just went as hard as they could at anyone in red...hitting first, playing hockey second...that is BUSH LEAGUE!

And you are right these college students love the game...its unfortunate that teams have to deal with the classless behavior of some of YOUR students with their goonish acts...puts a real damper on your program. That's probably why Emery walked over to your coach, shook hands and didn't waste his breath saying anything.
As far as the "hit" goes...he left his feet and was just out to wreck some body. They called charges ALL night long, but let this one go. I also admitted Vandy DID have his head down, but when someone leaves his feet to hit another player, that's goonish...even you yourself admitted he might have left his feet. You don't need to get penalties to be a goon....when your getting your tails whipped , you don't need to go around hitting everything as hard as you can...I mean geez look what your mom produced dude.
Sorry dude its the second year in a row your broadcasting wants to make up lies about me, and can't handle when your players get a little razed with out going for the 4 letter f-bombs like you said I used this and last year. Don't need to swear to razzle your buddies. And as a matter of fact besides little Nicky, there wasn't much razzle coming until Buff State decided they were in a WWE match...im sure you go to those too right?
And yes, on a serious note you guys do normally do a good non-partial call of the game....Just next time if you want to really challenge someone use better judgment. Get out in the world, get some fans, and you will see what college hockey is about. Trust me, if you think I am bad, you ain't seen NOTHING...I would hate for you to step foot in the old Duke Nelson arena...
