Director of Hockey Ops Bill Downey posted some new photos on Facebook.

This is the view of the main arena from what will be the concourse inside the main entrance.

Will the showers have privacy curtains?

The grand staircase has been installed as work continues on schedule for opening next fall.

Hope it includes a prison. Philly's been including them in sporting venues for ages. And Penn State should have been.

Not going to lie, I hope they fail. Miserably. The whole state should be locked up.

The football team is looking for a facility that provides more private shower facilities, so yeah, I'd guess they'd be used in the off season.

The community rink will be used virtually 24/7 by local youth, school and adult teams and leagues. I'm not sure that the main arena will be used as often.


Ignoring trolls with a pathological hatred of anything and anyone remotely connected to Penn State.

Yes - they're right on schedule for Oct. 11 opener against Army. Hoping there will be ice by August.
