6-1 final. If they keep it semi-close against Canada, they might be alright for goal differential, as it looks like the other pools aren't too spread out so far.

Debbie McCormick just picked up where Shuster left off. Two draw attempts that went clear through the house. :eek:

It would have been even more of a nightmare if the Danish fourth hadn't thrown one through herself.

That's good news. Now hope the scores stay rather tame for the rest of the #2's in the brackets. Or, find a way to sneak past Canada and be a #1 coming out of the pool.

Our "D" scares the bejesus out of me. They WILL be smoked if they try that crap against Canada. But, with that being said:

If you told me team USA would be 2-0 after the first two games with a 9-2 goal differential vs SUI and NOR, I'd take that any day. The key against Canada will be goaltending. The Canadians are likely going to out shoot us by 10-20 SOG, and Miller is going to need to step up big to keep it close -- he needs to outplay Brodeur for us to have shot.
