One word. Conditioning. Do not make excuses for why your team lost. They are hockey players and should be conditioned for this type of play and the amount of it --Especially at this point in the season.

Gilbert should have started. Although you would have never known he would of done that well since he gets like zero playing time. Can't blame Eddie though, he had to go with his starter and the hot goalie.

How many times does a DIII college hockey team play 4 games in 7 days? Besides, I don't think it was an excuse for a loss; sounds more like a justification as to why he isn't worried that Oswego is heading for a downward spiral.

Why on earth should Gosek have started Gilbert? Hare has gotten it to the #2 ranking. He gives the team the best chance to win. This is absurd.

after watching only these goals............CLEAN OUT THE FRONT OF THE NET....WOW utica set up camp in front,I dont think the goalies were able to see any of the pucks that went in...man... blast that guy if he wants to come in the crease/slot,make him pay for it,we used to break shafts of sticks cross checking guys in that area,,,,,,,,,,dmen stop watching the puck...PICK UP A MAN,there were times were there was a utica guy behind 2 dmen.....and bottom line if ya want to go in the box, this is what can happen..........learn from the mistakes and we move on,plenty of hockey to rebound

4 games in 7 days is tough, NO EXCUSE, I didnt like this week of hockey from the time I looked at the schedule in the beginning of the yr,NO EXCUSE.....Hare was not to blame from the highlights I watched,no help from the dmen and the pen killing was soft.....we move on..

These are exactly the types of things that keep killing them against really good teams. Look at the Hobart game that tying goal never should have happened as everyone was watching the puck. Until these guys learn that they have to get dirty once in a while to win some games against teams with equal talent to them they are not going to win anything meaningful.

I would love to sneak in and watch practice this week. I would imagine the boy's are going to be sick of defensive zone coverage and special teams in this long week of practice with no Friday game. I would bet Saturday's game will be a clinic on good defensive play!

Dude ..come back when UC's done something when it matters.....its a simple NC regular season win...if that's what gets you UC people excited then I guess have fun with that. I hate to see what it would be like if UC actually won something when it matters.....

We did win something that matters at a pivotal time in the season. We beat the #2 team in the country, twice.

What teams of real consequence other than Hobart has Oswego beaten this year? A very aggressive Cortland State?

But it does give us "points" when it comes time to select who goes to the big dance at the end of the year.

If I were you guys, now that you've lost two key non-conference games, I'd be more concerned to winning the SUNYAC rather than anything else at this point. Otherwise, what's your pitch to win the Pool-C bid?

Actually as a smart Utica fan I want Oswego to win every single regular season game they have left and win the SUNYAC the smaller the number in front of Oswego's name at the end of the year the stronger case those wins make to the NCAA selection committee.
