good to see Oz win their tourny, that said this is a tough weekend coming up for sure, I know Elmira got spanked this week, bu they will be up for Oz friday night in their own barn, and then we have to travel to Utica as well...long weekend for sure but one we should handle....really thought we would see a new face or 2 over the break but no go I guess.........

Winning the tournament was great - winning the next two on the road sets up the run in March...

Russell: I don't know about anyone else, but I miss your comments on the D-lll SUNYAC Blog. Your pre and post game comments offered a lot of insight into the SUNYAC teams. The blog isn't worth reading anymore. Any change you will return?

we had a few dooozies for sure,we had 6 fights in the third period of one game alone:D....as we used to say,it was the only time you could hit a cop and get away with it:D....but off the ice we were all in the same boat

I know the MASCAC gets no respect, but Smilin Sam Cannata from Salem St (#8 White) was in there, too!

For some reason I thought Cannata played for Merrimack but that was Joe Cannata and he was a goalie.

I hope I didn't offend, just wanted to make you aware so it was not continued. Other than that you certainly know your stuff. Don't they hand out rosters with how the names are pronounced? I'am pretty sure they do it here in Oswego.

You certainly did not offend, chief. As a matter of fact, I'm glad someone told me.

As for the rosters and what not, some places do, and some places do not. I am typically lucky to receive a computer generated line sheet. And I almost always go out of my way after a game to email the opposing Sid to thank them when I do get one of those because it saves a ton of time when we get into that hour window before puck drop.

Most football schools do it for football. I can't recall whether or not oz does it. However, mike could prob. Tell you, or I can tell you after sat.



Anyway, who's coming Saturday?

Not able to watch or listen to the game but looking at the box score I can't believe the Lakers had no Penalties. I hope they can do the same tomorrow. Utica always plays them very tough, especially at the Aud. Ed must have cracked down on the penalties. I can't ever remember the Lakers not having a game where no one sat in the box. It seems that the big 3 have been playing all year as if Whitelaw never got hurt. I did see the game Monday and Whitelaw looked good. Lets hope he can be the floor general for the remainder of the year.

Who's heading to Utica tomorrow? We have eight going with our group, and hoping "Laker Nation" travels well on this short trip. Huge game, looking forward to a great game, and really looking forward to having a beer while watching the game!!

I know of at least 5 more who will be going. Last night the scoring leaders continued to produce. Nice to see David Titanic getting on the score board.
