I think we can all agree it was one the best weekends for the men's and women's programs in recent memory. Should be a fun year.

Nice to look at,now we know for sure the word is out,we have to handle Mville this weekend,and then the trip west ,never an ez trip,and Buff st is playing well,I think they are in the top 15...edit they are not,they dropped out after the lose to Stevenson,Delaverne didnt play that game,I guess after they beat them 7-0 the night before they figured they could get away with their backup netminder,no such luck,lost by 1goal,they will be tough anyway.

Congrats to the Great Lakers on a well deserved #1 in both polls.

Not sure who threw Geneseo a #1 vote in the D3Hockey poll or how you would even defend that, given Oswego is undefeated and already won the head to head with Geneseo. Strange choice.

For those planning on attending Saturday's game against Moville don't forget it's Teddy Bear Toss night. Bring a soft stuffed toy to throw onto the rink after the Laker's first goal.

Solid Weekend...I'm sure Eddie will find something for the boys to focus on - PP was 0 for 3 tonight - classy move by Jacobson to give the new kid the final 20 min in net.

Latest stats after this game in Div III ... #1 in scoring offense #1 in scoring defense #1 in goal difference #3 in combined special teams. And Stephen Johnson has turned into a terrific player, runs the defense beautifully.

The Mustangs are still my lil ponies. On to WNY to play the Bengals. No teddy bears, should be a good one. I'm counting on the new SUNYAC juggernaut Cortland to soften them up Friday night......

Quite the change from last year, lost allot of heart-breakers by a very close margin. I'm excited about this year's progress. Allot of tough games ahead Buff state, Williams, Norwich*, UW-Eau claire, Utica*

I'm most excited about Eau Claire, a true test of East meets west, we never get too many comparisons. I like when two good teams from both sides meet.

yes Johnson had,lets say an off yr lat yr,looks much better this yr,as long as he takes care of the D side as well as the O side,more power to'em..

Rutkowski is listed on the roster a a soph, and in the Owegonian article they also referred to him as a soph?? Is he not a freshman??

Carried enough credits out of High School? I was 1 credit shy of Sophomore status when I first arrived at Siena.
