The only way SNC could have gotten a quarterfinal game is if they flew an eastern team to them. They obviously didn't want that expense.

By PWR, Stevens Point had to have a quarterfinal game over SNC. So, there was no other way SNC gets a quarterfinal game. So the next best PWR team is Oswego. It was actually quite logical.

Well Lou I just call'em as I see them,I am sure I miss a lot and the coaches see waaaay more than I, that's when I can watch the games,always want the best for The Lakers... so lets see whats next for us ….I would go with Hobart if I was a betting man,which I am not any more:eek:...long break for us,maybe time to work on special teams?? Best of Luck...

Hate to break it to you, but Sweet 16 is also trademarked just for basketball. So is Elite Eight just for basketball. (As well as obviously Final Four.)

Dorms close sat the 16th at 8 am...…..Hope the students stay around for the game that night ,team should work on getting the dorms opened for another night,,,then the celebration of course after that:D

St Paddys Day will be celebrated that night I'm sure beginning with 5 cent beers at 8 AM at Bucklands/Broadwells, then its off to the Bridge Street Run!

The Oswego Campus is considering keeping the dorms open until Sunday the 17th, that would help with attendance at the Center.

With a few other stops along the way, Nunzi's (to kill a keg), Gary's and the Sting for a quick game of pool. And for those who had friends in low places, Potter's Pub and the BPOE (with the drunken late night riding of the Elk)!
