With only a few weeks before we start the exhibition games ,lets get ready to rumble...All the best to coach Gosek and the great job he did for many years with the Lakers ....Best of luck to coach Whitelaw and his crew on the upcoming freshman season for Whitey and Co....it will not take long for the the coaches and players to know where they stand with the 2 HUGE games at SNB,should be good ones...Another tough schedule with a HUGE New Years tourney, with Utica,Trine and the defending National Champs Hamilton..Other games to circle, of course Whiteout,2 with Bart, one with Genny, and a tough SUNY schedule as always....Looks like we have reloaded with some good lookin recruits best of luck to them and welcome to Lakerland....Ok anything we should know let us know....Let's Go Lakers!!!!!..........

Agree 90%. Us natives don't take kindly to "Lake America" up here on the shores of Lake Ontario. Keepin' it real.

"Chippy little shits too at times. That scuffle at the end made me clean my glasses to double check we were playing the st john fisher cardinals not the suny platty cardinals."-posted this almost a year ago today. Glad to see not a single damn thing changed.

looked like a spirited tilt to me, players were chomping a the bit and little chippiness can be expected, that said, we looked fast and we rolled many lines, this will be a deep line-up...Goalies looked poised and ready to go, will be a tough call btw the pipes all season I would imagine...we finished well and took the body well...only thing I didnt like was the oddman rushes in the first half of the game but that is to be expected with all the adrenaline...Nice crowd and a good opening day for WTOP thanks....I would imagine a little more competitive next weekend with Naz,will not get to watch, will be in Platty for some volleyball....Let's Go Lakers!!!!!.....and Red Dragons

I am headed to Oz this week for the 22nd Dr. Lewis B. O’Donnell Media Summit - time flies when you’re having fun - and will scout both women’s and men’s games on Saturday with a healthy interrogation of Big Red and The Sherriff and a beer with Eddie G…the G stands for GOAT.

Have fun I will be right behind ya, driving up for the Genny game Nov. 6th,then down to Cortland on the 7th for some VB...drive safe,I have heard rumors of snow and ice alreadyo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

Was only able to watch the last 30 minutes of the game. The Lakers have to stay out of the box next weekend. Also, they must keep their composure. I hope Whitelaw instills this very forcefully for that was not the case in the second. If by chance the Lakers have the lead going into the 3rd against St. Norbert, they have to keep the foot on the gas. Tonight they let up. I think for Whitelaw to start his career against IMO the best coach in D3 will be an honor, a huge challenge, and a great learning experience. One last thing is that the Lakers have a new assistant coach as well. Off to Wisconsin Thursday,

We looked good out of the gate but then let up some...Goaltending will be interesting this season to say the least...dont like the sit back and watch on the penalty kill, this is D3,would rather see aggressive style, but thats me.....Should be a great weekend in Wisconsin....DIII have a safe trip,I need a detailed report as I will not be able to see the games as we have Volleyball wed,fri and sat....will drive home fast to hopefully catch the game????....Let's Go Lakers!!!!!

agreed definitely some let up in the 3rd. was it unintentional or did the coaches want to practice parking the bus and shutting things down? Extra curriculars were definitely up, hopefully a littl more discipline going forward as the results start to count and lineups are solidified. They were absolutely flying the first 2 periods though seems like the highest paced most agressive team weve had in a while.

Saw your between period interview on WTOP, well done👍, Go Lakers!

The Lakers differently like their seasons to start on the hard side. Last year our first 5 games we could have went 1-4. This year is no different. I guess having a tough schedule early is that St. Norbert, Genny may not have found their lines or chemistry. NOT. Just food for thought.
