Onward to Boston! Friar Hockey 2014/15 Part Two

Those first two periods were awful from Omaha or PC was that much better...let's hope North Dakota wins so PC can sweep through that conference

PC was much faster to the puck. Uno had zero forecheck. Looked to me like PC was a much better team

One of the best Friars hockey games I have ever watched. Probably the best. The Friars are playing for the national championship. Just wow.

And Gillies still hasn't scored.

Viva L'Alliance!!!

So will be heading into Boston Saturday afternoon without game ticket and won't plan to go to game as too expensive. But want to soak in FF atmosphere, Fan Fest, etc. Where is the official Providence pre-game fan headquarters bar/restaurant as definitely want to hit there? Can't find anything on PC website or Facebook page.

Congrats! PC underachieved this year- I think they're one of the best and deepest teams in the country, and it's showing now.

If not for Eichel, BU is a middle-of-the-pack HE team at best. I've seen them in person five times now this year and have been unimpressed other than Eichel and occasional excellent goaltending by O'Connor. If you can shut down (or at least corral) Eichel, you'll win.

But good luck doing that! ;)

At one point they showed a PC fan sitting next to a Lowell fan on the jumbotron. I couldn't help but laugh!

I need two tickets for Saturday if anyone has two extra for sale. Just saying. :)

Well, it appears with all the chatter that all the BU Terriers have to do is show up tomorrow night to claim their prize. I think it is only fitting that the Friars gift wrap that prize for them in a nice box, with red and white paper and a large scarlet color bow. Remember, it's scarlet, not red. Be sure to get that right, or they'll have Provic'd kicked out of hoky rast. :D

As miserable as BU (and BC and to a lesser extent, UNH) has made PC's hockey existence, they'd probably have to do a lot to make themselves more irritating than the endless stream of nitwits who have been whining about PC getting sent to Providence for the regionals, the hitting to the head major against Denver and even the officiating against UNO. Because that's totally why we beat UNO. All those powerplays PC received. Yeah.
So good luck with that BU. Unless Jack Parker shows up at my doorstep and flings Sasquatch and a Mike Eruzione bobble head at my cat, I don't think they compete with that level of annoying. ;)
