Onward to Boston! Friar Hockey 2014/15 Part Two

Look it's frustrating to be on the bubble and offense let us down badly.

But this a dramatic improvement over everything from 2002 to the Leaman hire.

yes Army was a terrible hire...I am thinking that this is more of a Pooley level staff that relies on defense but Pooley had better offensive guys.

Comical..... Why do you follow PC Hockey when there are much better offensive teams to follow only an hour north of Providence?

Yes... Kenmore U.
Leave the team on the Heights out of it thank you. ;)

How does one explain the constant dissing of one of the nation's best goaltenders every chance he gets?

My point is there are a number of Hockey East schools within driving distance of Providence if your not happy with the local team. It's not like living in Sault Ste Marie.

No idea why you would diss a top goalie. A little bizarre if you ask me.

So he can regale everyone with the superiority of NMU and MTU.

BTW, the 99', 2001, and 2003 Friars were better offensively, but this team has better coaching and goaltending. And I loved Schaefer and Goephert.

I got them right on the bubble...need the puck to bounce right tomorrow night to get a bid.

If Minnesota wins the Big Ten, PC is in and seeding depends on who else wins...meani ng they could finish anywhere from 15th to 13th. If Minnesota loses, here is the only scenario that I found via "you are the committee tool" that gets PC in:

all of these teams win:

Mercyhurst, Michigan, Colgate, Lowell, Miami, N. Dakota winner of WCHA does not matter.

I will admit that before the season started I did expect to be in Boston today watching them play for the HE crown and am disappointed in that but I still think we will be the 4 seed in Providence playing Denver for one team and 2 other from the western schools......only other school that could be there is Harvard, the NCAA likes a shot at the dollar

Was playing with the predictor tool , looks like even if minn. wins their still is a chance PC doesn't get in . Colgate , Lowell ,RIT , st cloud and MIch tech win , Doomed . I want to see as many HE teams in the tourney . Im rooting and planning on seeing PC in providence , fingers crossed.

Denver would also have to win for the above scenario to keep PC out.....needless to say going to be a white knuckle days for Friar fans

I have been watching the other tourneys and I can say compared to HE they play in slow motion. the only team that shows some life is Miami.....NCAA has to select at least 3 teams from HE and should take 4, this years crop is so much better as a conference than any from the rest of D-1

I would be shocked to see more than just BU from Hockey East in Boston...watch and see
