Trnkova scored a goal in the first minute of period 2!

In the first period Clarkson had 6 penalties and RPI 1. Has that ever happened for the men?

Trnkova did not play. Not sure what the stat sheet is talking about. At the end of the first period Clarkson took 4 penalties within a minute and had 4 ladies sitting together in the box. They looked like they could use a deck of cards to play bridge with. We played well enough to hold CCT off for the entire first period but the roof collapsed once the penalties were all served and Clarkson scored 5 in the second and 3 in the third to win 8-3. We just cannot hold this kind of quality team down playing without 2 or 3 of our best 4 defensive players. I doubt tomorrow will be any easier unless #89 can get back in the line up. We are just far too short handed on defense.

SLU goal under review Looked like off sides

Interesting that no replay was ever shown on TV. The play most certainly looked off sides but perhaps they had a better angle to look at. We never get many calls playing up north so I did not expect this goal to be reversed.
