At the end of 2 at Lynah: Cornell 1, UNO 1.

Cornell seemed to lose composure after negated goal.

He might very well of led the USHL in scoring last season except he had an injury that caused him to miss 11 games.

His current UNO freshman teammate, Jake Randolph (who assisted his goal), DID end up being the USHL scoring champ as a result.

Both UNO freshman are former Omaha Lancers of the USHL.

As strange as it might seem to Big Red fans, Coach Blais has been known to pull the goalie in situations like this one.

In fact, if he had a more veteran squad (UNO is currently dressing 11 freshmen), given the potential Pairwise ramifications of this game down the road, I bet he would have done it. We've played so well to start the season, freshmen be ****ed, that I bet he gave it serious thought.
