I see all links and info for the Center Ice Club have vanished from the team website. So has Ohio State's athletic department killed off the booster program? :confused:

The Extra Attacker Club is an entirely different promo put forth by the athletic dept to solicit donations and has nothing to do with the Center Ice Club which has been the team's booster organization for a number of years.

A friend of mine called me today and said Ohio State has suspended a number of booster organizations for different sports. Apparently the Athletic Department is shaking from the violations from the football program and that has got the compliance people spooked so they are going to re-evaluate the University's various booster programs to minimize the chance of improper contact and benefits. Figures, never a problem that I was aware of with the hockey boosters but everyone pays the knee-jerk reaction price because of all-mighty football!
