I don't feel the refs had anything to do with the outcome. I felt Friday Ohio State looked fast and sharp. Saturday UMD made adjustments and used their size in front of the net and won the corner battles. Ohio State looked slower to me Saturday and took stupid penalties. Both teams are evenly matched and will finish with similar records. Minny, Wisconsin and UND are a notch ahead. WCHA is a very strong conference. Good hockey and fun to watch.

Saturday UMD made adjustments...

It does appear that they found a way to neutralize Spooner, who was held off the scoresheet in the rematch.
