There are actually five players in the portal at this point if I counted correctly, plus five who have used up their eligibility, as you indicated. There are also a couple of players who could have come back next season, but are going to forego their extra year of eligibility. So, basically, Coach has 12 spots available. That should put to rest all the bullshit talk from some about our coach "decommitting" players.

Not sure why anyone would say anything else. It's simple math, really. We have 12 players leaving. We have four new recruits coming in and three transfers, so it's highly unlikely that any of the four new recruits get "shuffled."

Muzzy is a rebuilder. She's achieved everything she set out for at tosu. Time for a new challenge. If not Hawvawd, then BC. They need a change too.

Seems like tosu will need more transfers...If we're going by simple math.

The question is more about the circumstances under which those choosing to leave are making that choice.

So you don’t think Muzz told at least some of these players they weren’t going to be seeing ice time in the future so they should consider entering the portal? Their choice? Yes. Likely encouraged to enter the portal? Also yes.

The analogies for Ohio State were Rocky and Nicholson from "The Shining" (were there others?). I'm now seeing/hearing Muzzy as Brando from "The Godfather": I'm gonna make 'em an offer they can't refuse.
