OhhowIhate... NMU @ tOSU, 11/6-11/7

Re: OhhowIhate... NMU @ tOSU, 11/6-11/7

That says it all. You seem to like to rip people alot when you're not aware. Such as the flu. He missed Friday's game with the flu. Came out and played Saturday, but didn't play the latter portion of the second period. Wasn't even on the bench. In the Saturday Miami game, he won nearly every one of those one on one battles on the wall and was very solid in defensive coverage along with creating some offensive opportunites as well. He did so many of the little things so well. You gotta look at the little things, not just the scoresheet.

I don't think I was ripping on Miller. All I asked was what was up with him this year because I felt his play in the games I've seen this seen wasn't as spectacular as last year. It turns out he had the flu and that is a perfectly reasonable explanation for what I felt was a sub-par performance against BSU. I wasn't just looking at the score sheet for the Miami game, but I was watching the game on B2 on a crappy old NMU laptop so the picture wasn't that great. I'll take your word for his play in that one.

Looking at the box score, because it is a lazy Saturday afternoon.

1. NMU wins the faceoff matchup 37-25. Every player who took part in 2 faceoffs won bore than they lost. Butcher won 11 of 14.

2. OSU had 15 shots from their defensemen, including a game-high 7 shots from Matt Bartkowski. NMU had 7 total.

Wildpantswilly: How was the game on Big Ten Network compared to B2?

BWK: How'd you watch the game since it wasn't on B2 last night?

I have never watched a game on B2 I believe, but the quality was decent, but not phenomenal. It was easy to watch, and they had Dave and Dave calling the game which was nice. The only problem I had with it was that there wasn't a scoreboard or clock on the screen

I didn't watch last night's game. I never said I did.

What is the link to the big ten network. I would love to stream tonight's game though.

That stings a little, but there's not much to be ashamed of out of that game tonight.

I don't think we can ever be ashamed of taking one game on the road.

Congrats boys, it looks like we have turned a turner. Now lets do that same against Notre Dame!

If you are referring to TJ Miller, nobody knows what they are talking about
He didn't play in either Miami game because of the flu. So,who was really winning the one on one battles?

Re: OhhowIhate... NMU @ tOSU, 11/6-11/7

Before you say that nobody knows what they are talking about, read my original post carefully. It was Butcher that had the good series against Miami.
