Wierd. NBC PBP had it 3 - 0 Japan, next time I checked it was 2 -1 Japan, then 2 -2 , now it's 2 - 1 Japan.

Montenegro cleans the pool with the UK, and so the USA will have to face undefeated Croatia in the quarterfinals of men's water polo.

First rounds of both Womens shot and pole vault over- American's advanced in both. Women's 200m qualifying going on now.

in the 400m hurdle final, former champ Sanches from Dominican Republic takes the gold, Coulson just gets bronze... bummer.

After getting passed on the main straight, javier just faded- got into his head.

EDIT: They change it to Christine Sinclair, who gets the hat trick.

Wambach ties it up on a PK. The Canadian women are reminding me of Cindy Crosby, for some reason.
