Just a heads up, former Laker Paul Rodrigues got his first ECHL goal tonight in South Carolina's 3-2 win over Gwinnett. He also has one assist and is a -2 in four games with the Stingrays.

For Paul, I think Hare stepping in and playing as well as he did put an end to any thoughts he had of coming back. Like Remy said, he would have had to pay for another year of classes so he could compete with Hare and Jones for playing time and maybe win a title.

Mather was a 4 year player. He came to Oz with enough credits to graduate as a Jr. (which he did) Alot of the kids come in having done their Gen-Ed stuff else where. He just applied himself during his Jr's career up home in Canada.

Agree with the Beckwith thoughts........

I know Mather was a four year player, the question was whether or not Oswego had a grad student program, which they do. I don't know for sure but I believe Mather was in that by the time his Senior year of Hockey was finished. Justin Perron and Tony Dufour were two more Oswego players that were able to graduate after three years but unlike Mather they took that option.

He scored his second goal in the next game, also against Gwinnett. He has 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 games so far.

Late word WTOP10 will be broadcasting Oswego's Pathfinder games...a skinnier crew due to winter break, so less pre/in/post game content with the usual game production...

With the Governor shutting down all major roadways at midnight tonight, one hopes the teams are already in Oz and the crews - TV and radio - will be able to get there....

Curry's on the road, Utica's leaving tomorrow AM. Stout ???

Some of WTOP's crew is in Oswego already... most of WNYO coming from Syracuse. WPNR's makeshift crew from Utica and Rochester leaving tomorrow morning as well. Probably will be an easier commute for me then Ray. Everyone travel safe!

Stout is suppose to check into one of our local hotel's today. I don't know if they have yet?

FYI,as per Platty thread they did pic up that D1 transfer goalie from Colgate who looks to be very good, and the other Jensen is ready to play..looks like Platty got stronger over the break,not much out of oz over the break.......

team looked to play very well,a little sloppy at first on dzone coverage and passing but that can be expected due to a 3 week break.that said,BIG game tonight cant take a shift off.vs Utica they have all the skills needed to win a ton of games,see U18 game:D,,,I would think we see Zman in net and ?? for Utica in net,I thought Zezler played well vs the U18 team but probably will see Therian?

Flip a coin on Utica's goaltender tonight. It's unpredictable what Gary will do with these two. Bet Zelzer, don't be shocked to see Therrien.

Huge thing tonight will be for Oswego to slow down the Gaffney, Bobi, Morton line. They looked great yesterday, and controlled the game every time they were on the ice. Morton is crazy high energy, and good hands to boot! And of course don't let Educate get in open space!

Plus Oswego may be without the services of their top two goal scorers, Galati and Hulshoff, due to injury. Neither played last night but I didn't hear any speculation on how long they will be out.

i thought they didnt play last night so coach G could take a look at a few other guys?? Didnt see them get hurt in any games,maybe in practice?? In any case it should be a good game to watch.

Not our strongest line-up?? Injuries/discipline?? Galati,Hushlof,Scott,schultz???

Galati and Hulshof were injured in practice. I don't know what was up with Mac Scott and I don't really think Schultz is the type of player to use against a team like Utica. He is a bit soft for my taste and I thought Yorke was the kind of high energy, and fast skating guy you want out there against a team like that. I also felt Raguseo played very well in place of Scott.
