So, in case you didn't notice, and I'm guessing you didn't, RedskinWarriors.com is no more. Apparently, we missed the deadline to re-up the URL fees and lost the domain to what appears to be some sort of Asian hospitality or textile company. Who knew Redskin Warriors translates so well in Asia!

That said, we're over at the more PC BlogofBrotherhood.com and at some point will return from summer vacation.

Some quick tidbits on Barber's performance last week from Chris Peters

Riley Barber – F — He took a puck to his ear in the second period, but among Team USA’s forwards, he showed off the most threatening ability. Barber is definitely stronger than he was last year and the skill is increasingly evident. He’s using his speed extremely well also. That kind of creativity is going to help a lot as he’s almost assuredly a top-line wing for this club.

Riley Barber — RW — Barber scored the game’s first goal on a terrific one-time shot from the left faceoff circle. He had instances where he’d disappear a bit, which is somewhat of a concern. That said, he showed a lot of flashes of top-end speed and skill that will position him to be a top-line wing. The consistency issues are less concerning in August, but the staff will want to see Barber put together some better games. There were a few glimpses against Canada where Barber was threatening. For the role he’ll be required to play, he’s going to have to be a threat on almost every shift. Goals will be hard to come by for this club.

That's what, four new commits this summer with no decommitments...what is this madness??!?!?

Re: OFFICIAL Miami Redhawks Offseason 2013: We ate a jellyfish

New volunteer assistant coach announced yesterday.

Derek Edwardson making his way back to Oxford for a spot on the bench this season after stint over in Italy. Love seeing former players coming back to occupy that spot, with Petraglia (and Hill) finding a permanent spot with Miami, and Kaufman moving onto the USHL as HC/GM.

Re: OFFICIAL Miami Redhawks Offseason 2013: We ate a jellyfish

I guess it is about that time... The exhibition game is less than a week away and then we get the regular season started with the Buckeyes home-and-home series. Miami getting lots of love in the preseason polls, so it will be interesting to see how the team looks when they hit the ice early on.

Who has a good season thread title idea?

From that video, it really looks like Rico is excited about the skill level. Hopefully we can have enough physicality to match.

Exhibition Gameday is here. I just purchased my full season hockey pass. Hopefully there are no hiccups with the video streaming this year.

So much for that idea. HD stream never got up and running (for anyone, as far as I can tell), and the SD stream I got was really choppy, but that may have been my internet connection. It would be really nice if Neulion/All-Access could get it together and provide a consistent (and, ideally, consistently good) service.
