Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

Re: Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

Meanwhile, HN and I will probably wander on down to the Joe to watch subpar hockey and not tailgate.

He needs to hurry up and find a job closer to home...

Re: Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

What's up boys and girls? I'll be there for all the games and would love to meet up with you guys before/after the games. Where is the tailgate destination? I feel this may be the best opportunity to make a fool of myself, however, the dance mania competition would also suffice.

I gather you'll be at the Ralph this weekend Brent. I've never advocated buying Gopher fans a beer, but I wouldn't mind enjoying one in your company between periods. That actually extends to all posters who will be in Grand Forks this weekend, it'd be nice to put some faces to USCHO handles.

I'm also hoping to recreate this moment, though maybe with a change in the cast of characters...

We're in grand forks now. Brent is without computer. We will be hard to miss at the game, we'll be the ones in tech jerseys. Come find us.

Someone failed this weekend. Although we did get a free round on Fri at the bar, courtesy of a random Sioux fan.

And the bad news keeps on comin':

UND-MN is impossible for this year's F5. Gotta hope for MN-WI now. It's a great rivalry, but it's just not quite the same.

Less than 2 weeks to go!

1) Yeah, Sioux fans (and people in Grand Forks in general) like buying drinks for people. I can't tell you the amount of times I've had to leave my car at the bar because I ran into someone who kept buying shots and drinks all night. Was also at tRock once where a guy bought Jag shots for EVERYONE in the bar. And this was in the days where it was the place to go and busy almost every night.

2) FYP. ;)

The first year we were at the F5, a bunch of us took one of our concussionists out for his 21st and some Sioux fan dropped $50 on Rumpleminze shots all around.

If SCSU wins the tournament, there will be drinks bought.

Bought out the Baltika at Sid's. 7 bottles. Only 4-5 to go, which should be there either this weekend or early next week. :D

Re: Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

Well...I have officially decided to show up in St. Paul to join the festive crew. See you in week!
