Please tell me you are kidding....First two were brutal turnovers and cody was hung out to dry. Then a 5x3 goal. He gave up ONE soft goal...His team plays half way decent in front of him they win. Guy has given up 1 goal or less in 4 of his last 5 games...but man he has been awful lately...c'mon jd don't be so reactionary watch things closely...
Also kudos to Coach blasi for laying down the hammer tonight. 4 guys that are sitting were embarrassing last night. Weber and Schilling directly caused two goals last night. Hopefully they get the message because they are better than this and will have to be better if this team is to make the tournament. Its great to have a head coach that won't get walked all over and hold these men accountable for their actions.

Good on Rico for sending a strong message, and good on those who dressed for playing a great game tonight. Terrific bounce back for Connor, easily his best game since Fort Wayne.
Here's to hoping we see this continue during the biggest 4 game stretch of the season coming up.

Its great to see connor play well. Guy has had a really tough year and he never really got started. Just feel for him because of what he has gone through in his personal life. Hope he can feed off this performance and get hot.

A family problem right before the season started. It was amazing that he was able to even play so well at the beginnkng of the season

I believe many of the Spartan faithful will look back on the beat-down as a blessing in disguise. I can neither confirm nor deny that I am among those.

Clearly you missed the Comley quote in this Daily Star article in which he stated, "We may have defeated Miami on Friday but they shut us down in such a definitive manner on Saturday that I just can't handle another year of this. I am retiring after this year so that I don't have to try to coach against Rico in a regular season series ever again."

Im pretty sure it was stated earlier, I hope so for my sake atleast. Connor's father passed away suddenly before the season started. He was extremely close to his dad and it has been a tough year to say the least on and off the ice. Which is why I won't jump on his case for his play, I commend him for his efforts and really hope things turn around for him, he deserves it.

haha can I confirm it? Thoughts on Brekke? Got a feeling he will atleast throw his hat in the ring and would be a phenominal fit at State. Hope he doesn't leave, but think it is just a matter or time like the last two assistants. Price you pay when you have a top flight program and have great assistants on your staff. He deserves it just the the two prior to him and he will do just as good of a job as those two have starting out in their current jobs.

The first three were tough. But Knapp was miserable on Friday. He moved so slowly from post to post to cover what ended up being the put back off the boards. And, the 6th goal was garbage. Total lack of concentration. However, Saturday he rebounded which was great to see.

True, but my comment was to him calling cody out on friday night which was off base. Cody played fine friday night, let in one bad goal but his last 5 games speak for themselves.
