The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
It's easy to lose sight of the fact that these players aren't just numbers on a lineup. She was pretty unhappy at Providence. I have zero issue with these players leaving to go somewhere they'll be happier. D1 sports are your entire life at this level and if you're miserable then that can really mess with your mental health.
It's especially true with these players who were still under the old recruiting rules where they were getting offers from coaches as middle schoolers.

This is the pinnacle of many girls hockey careers and if they are able and wanted they completely deserve a chance to choose and move if they are not happy or satisfied with their experience. It happens to all programs as you know well. The Simple fact is these girls have worked and trained for the great portion of their lives to get the opportunity to play college hockey. Some players or coaches just are not a great fit. Will be interesting for team building how the deck shuffles with the fifth years.
