When is the last time NU beat BU at Matthews Arena? I can remember wins at the Garden and Agganis but not Matthews.

His presence around the college game has really grown dramatically over the past couple of years. I first saw him at the Jack Falla memorial service/skate at Agganis several years ago, and since then, he just seems to have been promoting the game a lot more (not that the service was any sort of trigger).
 
very poor communication by NU on their pp thus far tonight. if they do not regroup (injuries or not).. may end up being the difference tonight.
 
some life in the 3rd.. watch the penalties NU!

I'll take OT tie with the bench we got.
W would be awesome.
L would be tough after coming back in last min. like that.

i have to say, i'd have loved to be at the Dog whatever it is tonight. I would hope this game was sold out

Playoff-style hockey early in the season. Nice to see the intensity on both sides though I could have lived without the ticky tack calls. NU PP was 2 for 7 but is still a train wreck. If JM can fix only one thing, that would be it. Oh, and faceoffs too.

OTOH, don't try to fix anything relating to the heart it takes to come back multiple times from being in the hole to the pre-season #1. That part is not broken.

Certainly not the prettiest game, but games like that are why we love college hockey. Great fight from NU to come back 3 times in the 3rd and tie the game.
