Frattin rings one off the crossbar which leads to a breakaway chance for the Irish, but Dell is up to the task.

Frattin hits the crossbar on a play where the Notre Dame goalie had no idea where the puck was on that powerplay.

Game ends in a tie, 2-2.

Unfortunate result for the Sioux, as, IMO, they outplayed Notre Dame. Oh well, I'll take 3 points.

Technically... you do get points for non conference series. It's called the PAIRWISE.

But I don't expect a Duluth fan to understand THAT.

It's a much easier way to say what happened in the series than "I'll take a win and a draw". I'm sorry that you didn't understand it, but there really is no need to insult my intelligence.

It's okay though, I'd be mad if I were a UMD fan too.
