Irish lead 2-1 after 20 minutes. Michigan missed a golden opportunity to tie the game in the closing minute as Wohlberg found Glendening all alone on the doorstep and it went off the heel of his stick. He had a wide open net.

Final Michigan 5, Notre Dame 3. One of the weirdest games goal-wise ever.
