looking foward to seeing how the freshmen integrate to college hockey and the returning players improvement since last year- should be very competitive for playing time this year---the NEHC keeps improving every year and am expecting very competitive games all year--getting off to a fast start should be very important

Norwich leads Saint Anselm 2-1 after 20 minutes.

Cadets are literally sitting eight of the skaters that were on the ice for last year's national championship and the starting goalie.

Giving the freshmen plenty of chances and the guys who didn't play as much last year.

Norwich goals by Swanson and Cowlthorp so far.

Nelson got the start in goal and made eight saves.

I liked 11 Callum Jones in the first period.

Been so wrapped up in football season that hockey season totally snuck up on me. Excited to have more Norwich sports to watch!

After 2 ... Cadets and Nichols tied 1-1 ... Jordan Hall goal ... shots 24-11 Norwich

Norwich fell 3-1 to Nichols...late empty net goal with 2 seconds left sealed the Cadets' fate. Had a couple of chances with the goalie pulled but couldn't break through.

Norwich outshot Nichols by about 20.

I only saw about 3 minutes of the game as we had a women's soccer game going on at the same time.

Shots 33-20 Norwich ... 9-9 in the third.
Cadets 0 for 3 on the powerplay ... 6 for 6 on the penalty kill.
All position players played except Taeron Lewis (Injury?) ... Aubrun played whole game in net.

Thanks to Puck Voice and Prez for keeping us posted about the Cadets exhibition games! Some of us are just too far away to drive to the games as much as we may like to. I understand there is a new company producing the game videos. Can we still log on to it via the schedule link and will we hear George announcing. Hope so... can't wait to watch on Saturday Night. Also, I noticed that Jake Erickson is no longer on the roster...What Happened? He was a more than decent defenseman and I will miss watching him on the ice. Hope all is well with him.

I will be back doing the games ...
As to Jake he completed his classes and earned his degree this past spring.

Correct, you can still go right onto the schedule and click the video link for each game and it will take you to that video stream.
