Its hard to look at just the numbers. Ellie has a 1.59 GAA and a .952 SV% but it has been in relief for Stewie most of the time when the game is already out of reach. So, the other team's offense may not be going 100% at that point. But still, from what I've seen Ellie is a more techincial goaltender. Covers the puck, rebound control, doesnt drift out of the crease too often.

I found the game online for only $3 at bigtennetwork.com

NMU has more or less dominated play thus far. The goal that was whistled back for no reason was a load of crap, there still hasn't been a reason given for that.....

Hopefully they play well in the 2nd, the 2nd has been our worst period this year by far.

Thanks for the link. Once again, the military servers have clamped down on the Sports trackers and have installed a Denied Access to Site link without the Approval of Armed Forces Network. I wonder why I can get on USCHO with no problem? :rolleyes:

NMU 1-0 After 2 periods

Team's looked great except the last few minutes of the second, in which Ellingson looked fantastic. Ellingson is playing like how Stewey was expected to play. We need to come out hot and put another on the board. This should be a 3/4-0 game, but OSU's goalie (and the post) has kept them in this one for too long.

Ws' are needed, must play with 110% effort and a full 60 minutes of hockey.
