12:15 left in the second, SLU with most of the pressure this period, and it shows in the SOG: 8-0 for this period so far.

8 minutes to go in the second, Northeastern gets a goal off a 2 on 1 rebound. Scuffle after the goal, Northeastern player ran into Parks charging the rebound. Penalties coming.

Stevens gets the goal for NU. Northeastern gets the only penalty for a late hit. SLU PP. 3-2 SLU.

Northeastern gets assessed a delay of game penalty, presumably for knocking the net off. K. Roy to serve the penalty.

Play getting chippy, NU takes another penalty. Charging. SLU back to the PP, they are 4-10 this weekend.

Austin takes a slashing penalty with 1:26 remaining in the 2nd. NU PP.

Wick then takes a hooking penalty, and NU will get a 5x3 for 1:05.

NU scores with 8.2 seconds remaining in the 2nd, will remain on the PP for rest of the period and into the 3rd. 5-3.

5-3 at the end of 2 periods. NU will have 1:30 remaining on the PP to start the 3rd.

Shots were 14-5 for the period, 23-10 for the game. SLU went 2-3 on the PP for the period, they are 3-5 on the game and 5-11 for the weekend.

SLU goals for the period were: Wick from the Carey's, and M. Carey from Baker and G. Carey. NU goals were Stevens from Pimm and Benning, and Pimm from K. Roy and Szmatula.

Northeastern takes an early holding the stick penalty, which will end their PP. SLU will get a 1:45 PP.

7:33, SLU takes a timeout. NU has had a good bit of momentum lately, including a flurry just before this whistle. Good up and down action most of this period.

5:46 left. Past probably 5 minutes have mostly been in the SLU end. Saints running around a bit.

NU scores a late one with a minute left. Backhand from the point was redirected in front. 6-4, 1 minute left.
