Another diamond in the rough pick for the Ducks, Josh Manson started his career as a forward and was converted to defense just this season. The move has yielded brilliant results for Manson as he nearly doubled his point total. The kid already has NHL size at 6'3" and 203 lbs. He's going to play one more year with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the British Columbia Hockey league, before moving on to Quinnipiac university. He'll need time to finish learning his position, but in a few years could be a good component for the Ducks blue line.
It's Northeastern hockey. What could go wrong?Slit-N said:Not to worry boys and girls. I think everything is going to be just fine.

Gaudreau ain't coming.
What is your source and who was your English prof. ?
Gaudreau's on twitter feed says he got a release from NU, but is looking to play at a college next year.
Are there NCAA rules designed to prevent one college program from tampering with another college's committed recruit?
Thanks Craig for advancing the discussion.Yes, but the recruit is still allowed to initiate contact with another program, and it only affects signed or enrolled athletes (verbal commitments are outside the purview of the NCAA).
