It's tough to figure this one out,the "Ivy League Digital Network" isnt something Ive used much,Ive only listened to the NU womens hockey broadcast through them,but check out these pages,it's showing video broadcasts for both games,I will put up more as we get closer to game time but hopefully this will help:

I second this wholeheartedly. I'd travel down to WP for that game too. As much as I love NU, West Point is the my favorite college campus. Love spending time there, we used to go every Saturday during football season and every 4th of July

Looks like the Ivy League broadcasting will only show the Dartmouth games...We may be outta luck for our matchup vs the AFA. Hopefully WRBB will be there.

Thanks for the heads up. I've also seen that while WRBB won't be broadcasting, Huskies Radio will. Looking forward to a good game vs AF- time shake off the rust from the break and get down to business.

It sounds like Huskies Radio is a go! Ivy League Digital seems to be charging $15.95 to view the games (monthly pass) I am sad to see that,and thankful for GoNUxstream and Huskies Radio :-)
 
ZAR returns from an upper body injury today, on the 2nd line with Szmatula and Snydeman. Belonger is back too on the 4th line, with Reid and Pond.
 
Nice job Air Force..took it to us all gm. Sounds like they caught the Huskies off guard & flat out.. out worked us up & down the ice.

Well, that's why they play the gms. Let's try go 1-1this wknd. Time to get back on track. Let's go Huskies!
 
The teams I root for just don't have much success versus Air Force...Army football has struggled the last decade versus them, now NU loses!

Madigan pulled no punches in his statements afterwards, saying it was our worst game all year. Hopefully it's just the rust from being off for so long, I expect a bounceback game tomorrow versus Dartmouth. Though I wouldn't be shocked to see Roy in net...hopefully Witt gets a chance to redeem himself but I could see JM giving Derick a game. Either way, this is the time to revamp and get back into Hockey East shape. Lots of meaningful games ahead, for far more important trophies!

Down one spot to #17 in the USCHO poll. That was a wakeup call yesterday, need to bring our A game versus Dartmouth today.

As I anticipated, Derick Roy is in net. Lineup is the same otherwise.

Huskies take an extended break through the entire wknd.. time to fix this in the New Yr, hopefully.

..what a ridiculous gm.. NU with 2 extra attacker goals to tie it 8-8 with approx 40 ticks left.
!!! Not sure what to think of this gm.. good or bad!

I can say this, as I was there for both games, Defense is very suspect and we will need to find another goalie after Witt graduates. Terrible hockey and other than some offensive flash by the usual suspects these boys need to regroup. They are far more talented than the 2 teams that gave them so much trouble this weekend, and while these games don't mean much for the standings, they do count for the important Pairwise.

However, that Air Force Team beat PC, so it is what it is. It was nice to see NU come hard with 4 unanswered in a total all out onslaught, but it should have never gotten that far out of hand.

If you look at the film, I see the issue is in transition, and sloppy play on both sides of the puck. They can fix it, but it needs to happen quick before the UMASS games this weekend or they won't see any points. Also the play of Josh Manson (-6) this past weekend (both games) if you count the goals he gave up in poor bench changes is, well it's not good, he doesn't look like a blue chip red line prospect and NHL draft pick to me, if he wasn't the kid of a NHL'r I am not sure he would be drafted. Although he has looked pretty good in most games this weekend he noticeably was sub par. I just don't think he is a top D man in the NCAA.

I would have started Witt again, but that's just me.

I give the team credit for not folding entirely. A tie is better than a loss, and coming back from down 4 with 10 minutes to go is quite the feat. Battling back like that is a plus, shows the offensive potential this team has. The defense though...I can't think of a word that suits how it was today. Coach used the word "lax"...They were still on break!! They are not a very good unit, I concede that. But if they can play at a league average level consistently, NU will win meaningful games. Witt has clearly answered our goalie questions- I give him a pass on yesterday due to the break, he'll be better. Needs to start every game from here on out.

Congrats to Szmatula on making the tournament team, nice to see Manson/Benning/Sauce getting into the action on offense as well. Pimm played very well this weekend, he has been on fire lately. Couple quiet games from Roy this weekend, that will change. There are definitely positives to build on as the calendar turns to 2014, and obviously negatives to address. JM has his work cut out for him, but I believe.

Your not alone. I've always felt it is best to get right back up on the horse after a fall.
Hard to imagine a guy with a .940 save% and 2.12 gaa giving up 8 goals the day after a 5ga performance.
Maybe he was sick?
