Great effort, so I can't complain -- all you can do is all you can do.
I'm rooting for the the Yalies now...
Also a great defensive system by Lowell evidently.

I hate to say this, it's hard to do... Both Lowell goals are effort goals... You guys are in the neighborhood... But it's just happening so far

Between the UNH lineup changes, Lowell's aggresive defense, and that wall in net I was impressed with how well the wildcats kept up throughout most of the game. Their legs were clearly going on them by midway through the 3rd period.
Good luck to Lowell. That is one of the most solid teams from top to bottom I have seen. The pressure and agrresive play is nonstop the entire game. The 2nd and 3rd periods become more about survival than anything else for the opposing team even in a tied or close game. There were a few players for Wisconsin who flat out gave up when that game was still in reach for them with a couple friendly bounces of the puck. In tonight's game they were still throwing a couple aggresive forcheckers deep in the zone with the two goal lead and under five minutes left but still able to shut down the center of the ice transitioning defensively into their own zone.
